The delightful Entre Hielos Lodge is nestled high upon a steep mountainside in the remote town of Tortel, two full days’ drive from the closest airport in Balmaceda. Sandwiched between the northern and southern ice fields, this isolated, magical town is constructed upon wooden walkways and staircases that cling to the fjord mountainside. Access by car is impossible and is limited to the car parking area in the north of the town, with the final ten minutes of the journey to be completed on foot. Entre Hielos Lodge consists of just five comfortable and cosy rooms, each with a private bathroom, central heating and exceptionally comfortable beds with feather down furnishings.
